A company officer in Nagasaki City was arrested on suspicion of fraud for deceiving a national subsidy of about 7 million yen against the new coronavirus.
The person who was arrested was Shuhei Nakamura (45), a company officer who lives in Motofunamachi, Nagasaki City.
According to the police, Nakamura is a company that sells liquor in Nagasaki city run by a relative from September to December, hiring seven fictitious employees and taking a leave of absence due to the influence of the new corona. There is a suspicion of fraud because he pretended to have paid the money, applied for a lie, and deceived the national subsidy of 6.93 million yen.
In June of last year, the Nagasaki Labor Bureau consulted with the police that there was an "illegal application," and the incident was discovered.
