After making it hard for users to install the Chromium web browser on their distributions by deciding to drop support for Ubuntu’s Snap universal packages with the Linux Mint 20 release onwards, the Linux Mint developers are now packaging Chromium and distributing it trough the official repos.

The Linux Mint team has arranged to provide its own Chromium package to users who were previously pointed towards Canonical's Snap Store if they wanted to get the popular browser.
"The Chromium browser is now available for both Linux Mint and LMDE," said Mint maintainer Clement Lefebvre, noting that the build process for the application and new package is a lengthy one "which can require more than six hours per build on a fast computer."

The MX Linux 19.3 distribution has been released today as the latest update to the MX Linux 19 “Patito Feo” series of this Debian-based, systemd-free operating system for personal computers.
Packed with all the latest software and security updates from the Debian GNU/Linux 10.6 “Buster” release, MX Linux 19.3 is here with new kernel versions patched against the recently discovered BleedingTooth security vulnerability affecting certain Intel processors.
While the standard ISO images ship with Linux kernel 4.19.152 LTS, the more advanced AHS (Advanced Hardware Support) edition is powered by Linux kernel 5.8.14. The latter also comes with a newer Mesa graphics stack, version 20.1.8, as well as recent X.Org Server graphics drivers.

More than six months in development, CentOS Linux 7.9 is here packed with great enhancements, including support for the Python 3.6 interpreter, redesigned desktop layout, improvements to Security Profiles in the Anaconda graphical installer, as well as the ability to report bugs directly to bugs.centos.org.

Springdale Linux (formerly PUIAS Linux) is a complete operating system for desktops and servers, built by compiling the source packages for Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
